CarManager Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using CarManager ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

CarManager is a vehicle management application that helps users track fuel purchases, maintenance records, expenses, and vehicle information. The App offers both free and subscription-based features.

3. Subscription Terms

Auto-Renewable Subscriptions:

• Essentials ($1.99/month): Unlimited vehicles, fuel purchases, expenses, maintenance records, advanced reports, and iCloud sync
• Essentials + Safety ($4.99/month): All Essentials features plus monthly vehicle safety recall checking and manufacturer scheduled maintenance
• Family ($4.99/month): All Essentials features plus Family Sharing support, shared vehicle access, and family expense tracking
• Family + Safety ($7.99/month): All Family features plus monthly vehicle safety recall checking, manufacturer scheduled maintenance, and monthly car seat recall checking

Subscription Details:

• Subscriptions automatically renew monthly unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase
• You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID Account Settings
• No cancellation of the current subscription is allowed during active subscription period

4. Free Tier Limitations

The free version of CarManager includes limitations:

• 1 vehicle maximum
• 10 fuel purchases maximum
• 10 expenses maximum
• 10 maintenance records maximum
• Basic reports only

5. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account information
• All activities that occur under your account
• Ensuring the accuracy of data you enter into the App
• Complying with all applicable laws and regulations

6. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your information.

7. Data Storage and iCloud

CarManager uses iCloud to sync your data across your devices. By using the App, you consent to your data being stored in iCloud according to Apple's terms and our Privacy Policy.

8. Intellectual Property

The App and all content, features, and functionality are owned by CarManager and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

9. Limitation of Liability

CarManager is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We shall not be liable for any damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, and consequential damages.

10. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes through the App or by email. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
